We have heard from many who are or have loved ones who are struggling right now for many reasons. We've heard expressions of fear, anger, sadness, loneliness and worry about the future. We want to acknowledge these emotions and ensure you know that you are seen and heard.

As Pastor Gina shared in her recent letter sent to the congregation, “this is the time to give someone a hug if they need one and assure them you love them, through tears of pain and tears of joy.”

In an effort to provide additional support for those in need, our Reconciling Ministries team has shared the following information. We encourage you to share these resources with those in your life struggling right now.

Crisis services especially for the LGBTQAI+ community have seen a sharp uptick in usage since the election and local, regional and national organizations have been offering extended resources. Some of the most important work we can do is to make sure that all those hurting among us are connected to a safe community. One of the most important things allies can do is not minimize the concerns of their LGBTQAI+ family and friends.
