Young Families
While the name is Young Families, the vision is broader than that. Our goal is to create a welcoming community where couples, parents, and families can come together to build relationships, discuss meaningful topics, strengthen their faith, and learn practical ways to create more joy, connection, and purpose in their homes.
We will be meeting approximately once a month following the worship service for a Brunch & Learn gathering.
What a Typical Gathering Looks Like
Fellowship Meal - immediately following the first service, or only service if that's the case
Following the service, everyone will gather in the Fellowship Hall for a simple brunch or lunch. This is an opportunity to connect, meet new people, and build relationships within our church family.
Discussion Session - beginning about 30 minutes after
After the meal, children will be cared for by childcare volunteers in the Kids Church area while parents and adults participate in a guided discussion.
The discussion will be centered around a book or topic relevant to marriage, parenting, family life, faith, technology, or personal growth.
One important distinction is that this is not intended to be a traditional book club. While participants are encouraged to read the book beforehand if they would like, it is absolutely not required. Each session will begin with a brief overview and summary of the key ideas from the book, allowing anyone to participate regardless of whether they have read it.
The goal is meaningful conversation, shared experiences, practical takeaways, and fellowship—not homework.

Individuals, families, small groups, or ministry teams willing to provide or coordinate a simple brunch or lunch for one of the gatherings.

Volunteers willing to spend time with the children during the discussion portion of the event so parents can fully participate.

Help spreading the word through announcements, social media, bulletin inserts, and personal invitations.
Discussion Facilitators
Individuals interested in helping lead conversations and encourage participation during breakout sessions.
Our hope is that this ministry becomes a place where people can build authentic relationships, support one another through the challenges of life and parenting, and grow together in faith.
